On March 7, 2019, GCS took to the road to Washington DC to gather at the highly regarded restaurant Momofuku CCDC. Dragons from the classes 1998 through 2014 gathered to share laughs and memories with current faculty members Carol Lehan, Walter Mattson, and Kevin Macaluso. Everyone had the pleasure of tasting the incredible cuisine provided by one of Glenelg Country School’s own, Tae Strain ’01. After a three-year stint in San Francisco cooking at critically acclaimed restaurant The Progress, Tae moved back east to take over as Momofuku’s Executive Chef and has taken the cooking scene by storm. It was a night to remember and Glenelg Country School is looking forward to hitting the road again soon!
