One of the most exciting moments for a student-athlete is receiving a scholarship offer. However, nothing is official until the Letter of Intent is signed. This act is a celebrated tradition across the country known as National Signing Day. Glenelg Country School recognized the 2021 graduating student-athletes who have committed to play at a Division I and II college or university during the Fall Athletics Commitment Celebration on Wednesday, November 11.
Remarks from Paul Weir, athletic director began the socially distant ceremony that omitted refreshments and socializing typical in past ceremonies. Coaches Anne Smith (women's field hockey) and Paige Walton (women's lacrosse) also spoke about their players.
