Multicultural Children’s Book Day

Multicultural Children’s Book Day is celebrated on January 29. The mission of Multicultural Children’s Book Day is to raise awareness of children’s books that celebrate diversity and to get more of these books into classrooms and libraries across the country. This year, GCS is celebrating and supporting this initiative in the Lower School by incorporating diverse books from our very own Manor House Library into lessons. Each grade level will read and discuss a story about a diverse character in the upcoming week.
