  • Supporting students and their families

Glenelg Country School is a true country day school, bringing the character-building aspects of the best college preparatory schools to Howard County. To further support our students and their families, we offer a variety of services and programs to better enhance the education experience.
  • Bus Transportation

Round-trip transportation is available to and from school for pre-kindergarten to grade 12 Glenelg students (2 and 3 year olds are not allowed to ride a bus). Each route is designed to be about an hour. Pick-up at the first stop begins at 6:45/7:00 a.m., while the bus leaves campus daily at 4:00 p.m. Families also have the flexibility in choosing different pick-up and drop-off stops for their child.

The cost to participate in transportation services is $800 one-way and $1,400 round-trip annually. For questions about this service, please contact Elizabeth Walsh at walsh@glenelg.org.
  • International Students

Glenelg Country School is proud of our international students and how they inform and shape the worldview of our school. International students reside off campus with host families. To help our international students adapt to the states, we provide homestay oversite as well as academic support and tutoring. In addition, we sponsor 3 to 4 social events each year to promote social interaction, community, and culture.

While student living arrangements are ultimately the responsibility of the student’s parents and host family, our International Student Liaison is available for support when facilitating agreements.
For more information about the admission procedure for international students or about becoming a host family, email admission@glenelg.org.

We understand the demands of working adults. Our Extended Day programs provide a supportive and safe environment for your child to learn, explore, share, create, and play while you’re at the office. Our Extended Day teachers encourage imagination, creativity, and expression through the arts, science, nature exploration, and more.
