Our goal is to get our ENTIRE community on board with the Annual Fund!

You can give GCS students the gift of possibility.

Without the operating budget support provided by the Annual Fund each year, GCS could not offer the exceptional variety of programs, activities, and opportunities that define our school.

List of 5 items.

  • What is the Annual Fund?

Tuition alone has never covered the full cost of a Glenelg Country School education. Like all other independent schools and nonprofits, the school depends on philanthropy—in our case, gifts to the Annual Fund—to close this gap in the operating budget.

  • Why should I give?

A strong Annual Fund is essential for the health and success of the school. The dollars we raise are important, but participation is just as crucial.

High participation from alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends of the school demonstrate that the GCS community believes in the school and its mission. This show of community support matters—for Admission, for foundation and corporate donors, and our reputation.

  • How much should I give?

Give until it feels good! What’s important is that you give something.

  • What does my gift support?

In a word, everything! The funds raised impact every area of the school, supporting everything from faculty salaries and financial aid to library books and soccer balls. Every single dollar makes a difference for every single Dragon.
