Parents & Friends Association

The Parent and Friends Association (P&FA) provides a great opportunity to get involved at GCS! The P&FA plans and supports school events and activities in addition to hosting teacher appreciation luncheons, school fundraisers, as well as various parent and student social activities. Volunteers are always needed and welcome!

  • Annual Fund Committee

    Works directly with the Development Office to reach out to your fellow parents and encourage them to donate to the school's Annual Fund. 


  • Arts Committee

    Support both the Upper and Middle School arts programs under the guidance of the Arts department. Committee members provide refreshments and assistance for a variety of performances and programs throughout the school year.
  • Concession Stand Committee

    The Concession Stand Committee volunteers to help with the operation of the concession stand during home games to enhance the game day experience. 

  • Dragon Dialogue Committee

    Work with the school to bring notable speakers to address topical issues. This fully-funded program is open to the GCS community and the community at large. 
  • Family Day Committee

    Help plan, publicize, set up, break down, and work at this fun-filled family event, and it's a popular GCS tradition!
  • Mailing Committee

    Assist the school with large mailings! Volunteers chat and socialize while assisting in stuffing, stamping and sealing annual mailings.
  • Parent Ambassador Committee

    Work directly with the Admissions Office in welcoming new families. Volunteers answer questions and offer assistance to incoming families and attend Discovery Days to mingle and offer insight.
  • Social Committee

    Organize the annual spring fundraising event to benefit the school. Volunteers are needed for theme planning, acquisitions, decorations, event day set-up and clean-up, invitation mailings, and more.
