Keeping our community safe and secure is our top priority. We remain diligent in monitoring CDC guidelines related to coronavirus, as well as our state and local health department recommendations. Summer in the Country day camps are open to GCS students and the community
Glenelg Country School’s traditional day camp, Summer in the Country, has entertained and educated children for over 20 years. With nearly one hundred different types of camps to choose from, your child is sure to have a summer filled with excitement and fun.
Situated on an idyllic 90-acre wooded campus, campers spend their days in a stunning environment that includes an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, playing fields, shaded pathways, air conditioned classrooms, computer labs, athletic center and pond for scientific study.
Our camp counselors, assisted by junior counselors, are members of the GCS faculty and/or are qualified professionals. The success of our camp programs is greatly facilitated by a camper-to-staff ratio of less than 10 to 1 and our balanced program keeps campers returning year after year.
