Summer in the Country Traditional Day Camps offers exciting, fun, and enriching day camps for boys and girls ages 413. Campers are grouped co-ed by grade level and are led by energetic and enthusiastic staff in a safe, supportive environment.

  • Traditional Dragon Day Camps (Entering Pre-K–Kindergarten)

    This is a traditional day camp for our youngest campers. They will enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities including science and nature exploration, arts and crafts, music, gross and fine motor activities, and so much more! Campers will explore weekly themes such as the circus, going green, and celebrate the USA. Campers must be four years old by September 1, be able to use the restroom independently, and have attended an age-appropriate three-year-old program to attend Pee Wee Dragon Camp.

    Capture the spirit of being a Glenelg Dragon camper during our traditional day camp! This camp is designed to offer children a variety of activities within a supportive and structured environment. Outdoor exploration and play, arts and crafts, group games and friendly competitions, and science and technology experiences are only a part of the exciting day. Campers will explore weekly themes such as medieval times, around the world, celebrate the USA, and outer space. Special presentations from community members and our Dragon Campfire activity round out each week of fun!
