February Challenge for the Annual Fund
Last year, the Dragon family raised over $50,000 for the GCS Annual Fund during the month of February, inspired by James and Elizabeth Rushe and their family’s generous matching challenge gift of $20,000. Now, #DragonLove is back for another round, and this year, some of our other legacy families are coming together to offer another matching challenge gift!
GCS “legacy families” are those Dragon alumni who love the school so much that they want their own children to be Dragons as well. For these alumni parents, supporting the Annual Fund every year is just part of the GCS experience. To encourage you to join them in giving, a group of our legacy families have come together to match all Annual Fund gifts during the month of February—up to a total of $15,000! That means that your gifts of any size will have double the impact for students and teachers.
The Annual Fund is the school’s most important fundraising priority each year, and we are committed to raising at least $300,000 in operating budget support by June 30, 2020. Every dollar is used by students and teachers, but we need the entire community’s help to reach our goal. Parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, and friends: please join us again in sharing your #DragonLove this month.
